Autodata has become the victim of counterfeiting, after it emerged that a garage in Warwickshire had been using a fake version of the information specialist's software to safety check vehicles. The company was made aware following a complaint by a vehicle manufacturer.

Halfords has announced the appointment of Bill Duffy as CEO of Halfords Autocentres.
Taking effect from the 12th September Bill will become the CEO of Halfords own service and repair network. Currently the Autocentre network operates from 240 sites across the UK.
